Climeworks, the Swiss based 400-person venture-backed startup, has made its mark with the first and then the largest capacity direct air capture + storage solution in the world.

Quilt, like recent start-up successes Uber, AirBnB, and Nest, is attempting to disrupt a sector that hasn't had much innovation in years - the residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) market. While not the sexiest, it’s ripe for innovation.

Climate Fresk is a community workshop to prompt discussion and debate on the causes, effects, and solutions of climate change. “Knowledge is the first step of change. if you want to change now, you need to first understand the topic. And then you will be able to act,” says Climate Freak’s creator.

Launched during the pandemic, Terra.do is building the world’s largest platform for climate action. The mission: Get 100 million people to work directly on climate in this decade. Terra’s founders believe that at least 100 million people (that’s just 1% of humanity!) will need to learn climate skills, build new professional networks and find new kinds of work in this decade.
